Now that Andrei/Fedor is Official, What are Your Thoughts?

You know,

If a year ago you told me Andrei Arlovski was fighting Fedor, Id have said Andrei had a good chance.

But after watching his last few fights, what is wrong with him? His offense is his defense, and his defense is running away from people. He looked scared against Big Country, and he was mediocre at best against Rothwell.

Andrei has always had superb conditioning, and is just a mean man. But lately, he has been very very tame and almost afraid to engage people.

I definately think this wont be a Sylvia type fight where its over so fast, and am going to say it will make it to the 2nd round before he gets submitted. Id guess about 3 minutes into the second round he will fall victim to one of Fedors subs.

But im not counting Andrei out by any means. Dont forget, he is a Master of Sport and International Master of Sport at Sambo too (Fedors main fighting style)

Your thoughts?

Personally, I want to see Arlovski win the fight. I have never been a fan of Fedor (I know, one of the very few), and I think Arlovski is an absolute beast.

It should be a good fight, but Affliction stinks.

Andrei sambo skills will not help him against Fedor.Fedor in my opionion wins this fight with little problem.I say 1st round sub also.He doesn't have the punching power to hurt Fedor and i don't believe he can't take Fedor to the Ground.

Fedor will win this fight. Andrei is a great fighter, but Fedor is just on another level. Unless Andrei comes up with a GREAT game plan. I don't see him standing much of a chance. I hope it at least lasts longer than the Fedor vs Tim Sylvia fight :lol:
