Even with Carmelo, the Nets will still pretty much suck. Heck, he had a lot of talent around him with the Nuggets and couldn't lead them to the finals.

At least the Knicks wouldn't kill their team by trading for him. I really don't understand why the Knicks even want him.

Well you might be half right, they could make the playoffs but they won't do any damage out in the East. Now if they can add some more talent in the off-season then they will definitely be dangerous next year. But honestly they don't have the supporting players in Jersey that he did in Denver.JesRey said:

I'm not even considering chemistry, but more how Melo would fit with that team. Amare is doing great this year, but the offense runs through him. They don't need another high volume scorer. What they need is another offensive option that doesn't need to score to be effective. Someone like Iguodala (if healthy) and handle the ball, pass, rebound and lock down the other teams best scorer on defense. Melo can't do those things on an every night basis.
