I've been wanting to start this thread for some time and thought our Nation's birthday was as good a time as any to start sharing my Adam Dunn autograph card collection. I made the decision years ago to only collect Dunn auto cards as it helped focus my search and funds (although I broke my GU code a couple of times... shhh!). I leave it to you fine Americans to share your Adam Dunn base, parallels, GU, autos, jerseys, bats - any and everything!

My one contribution from the D-backs collection- didn't even know it existed until a few months ago.

Very nice! Dunn only played 44 games for the Diamondbacks in 2008 so cards of him in a D-backs uniform are rare (as your card illustrates the transition). The first Dunn game used bat I obtained is labeled as a Cincinnati Reds bat but is MLB authenticated to having been broke during his 2nd game playing as a D-Back. When players get traded mid-season there is a short period of time where they play for a new team with equipment used with the old team (in this case, Louisville Slugger had to make new bats for Dunn with the Arizona Diamondbacks labeling).

But yeah, pretty happy to find this card! I made a decision like 10 years ago to consider it a D-back card if it and the logo and not the player in uniform, and that really benefited me here. Obviously he never would have gotten one made actually in the uniform.

Just a quick 44 games with the D-Backs to help with their push to make the 2008 playoffs (they finished 2 games behind the Dodgers in the N.L. West in 2008).

I don't think I've ever seen the jersey/auto card you posted earlier and I know I haven't seen a pack-pulled auto with him in a Diamondbacks uniform... except for the one I have /10. I'll show you that card in the 2008 grouping.

You're not kidding! With all the different parallels, I have 27 different Dunn auto cards from 2004. For comparison, I have seen only one 2006 Dunn auto card.
