Someone will take Jeff Natale from the Red Sox. I'll be interested to see where he goes.

The Rays have a few notables I'll be following -

Chris Nowak, Chris Mason, Eddie Morlan, Chuck Tiffany and Ryan Royster.

Doug Melvin has a few spots open on the 40-man and has said he may make a pick this year - likely a pitcher.

I only have one.... Van Pope. I don't have much left of him though.

This years Rule 5 draft class is very underwhelming. It wouldn't shock me if not a single player broke out from it.

Shaun Cumberland-Reds (He was stuck behind all the Rays OF Prospects and now could have a hard time making it to the Reds if they pursue Dye)

Probably a stupid question but when did the Rays get Chuck Tiffany?

Mike Rozier in Boston, and a couple of the Braves: Kala, Eric Campbell (please someone take him), and Van Pope.

Man, there are some decent names up there. The Nats have some names I was kinda shocked to see listed.

Believe me, many of those names you know won't get chosen. The stipulations of the rule 5 draft really make it hard for teams to take alot of these guys.

The only real reason the names are on their to begin with is because you can only protect so many guys. The ones you have to focus on protecting are the ones you need for immediate future help.

The only Jay I have the slightest concern of losing is Brian Dopirak. And my concern registers about a 2 on the 1-10 scale.

Pirates take Donald Veal with the 4th pick. If he can rebound to how he pitched a few years ago, this will be a great pick for them.
