OT: Highest bowling score ever?

Any bowlers on here? I was in a league for about six years, before I stopped, but I should be joining another this spring.

Whats your high score? Without bumpers!!

Edit: Forgot to add, my average is around a 165, and my high score is a 207. I want to crack a 230 by the spring.

My buddies and I got really into it for about 2 months about 2 years ago...I bowled a 210 one game...most of the time I was 150-175.

I was in a league for 3 years and my best game was 208. my average was 170. our league broke apart and I am looking to join another this coming Fall.

I am in a league since the summer. I got into it. My average is at 168 (was up to 172). My high game is 223. I have not gone for 2 weeks though because of all the snow we have had in Portland though.

I used to be an avid bowler from ages 7-12 but then one of 2 lanes closed down here and the other monopolized and started charging 8 bucks for a game so I quit. My average was around 175-180 through the time, high game of 256. Still have the paper print out from the game lol. I wish they didn't close the lanes down or else I still would be bowling. Luckily the HS had a bowling team and we bowled almost 30 games a week for FREE (school paid ). High game this year then was only 225.

I used to bowl about once a month and never was really that good. I averaged about 120. One night I got hot and bowled a 247. It was really fun.

On a side note. My grandmother is 84 and has been in a bowling league for years. She carries a 170 average. Every throw is right down the middle. She has never thrown a hook in her life. AMAZING!!!

A while back before a few injuries side lined me I had a 190+ Average I have 1-700 series i had a high game of 299

Takes many hours of practice to be good at bowling
I had one awesome year I won the southern district All around Championship as well as the County All around Championship.
I should define all around 3 games in a 5 man team 3 games in doubles and 3 games in Singles

Any duckpin bowlers over here? Much harder then 10-pin. My highest in duckpin is 169, 10-pin would be 170ish.

Yeah it's cool how much experience helps you. My grandma has been bowling for 42 years (with the same ball) and carries a 160 average. Kicks my but every time.

I bowled in leagues, and for my high school. Average was about 175, and highest ever was something like 235 if I remember correctly. I got to watch another guy on my team bowl a 300 one time.
