I opened a blaster and two rack packs of the 2010-11 donruss and I have to say...I honestly think its a pretty good product with some nice inserts. Couple that with the donruss football rookies set I purchased and I really think Panini is on to something. I know numbered cards aren't that big of a deal nowdays but for what I paid...I got a pretty damn good deal. Also...not having to go further than the nearest walmart to land these kinds of cards is a mega plus. I pulled a Colt McCoy auto out of the football set and its sp'd to /25. I also got several numbered cards(one numbered to /25 even) as well as two GU jersey cards(both numbered) and also a ton of cards(162 total) out of the donruss basketball . I found it odd but I really feel like they actually care about the consumer. Like they are trying to not only come up with some innovative ideas but also take care of you whether its retail or hobby. I can't wait to bust some of their hobby stuff. Cause if its anything like the retail...I'll be really happy.
Anyone else feel this way? You think they have really raised the bar? I'd love to see them get a baseball license.
