So since there aren't Exquisite Auto Patches this year, the next best thing you've got is National Treasures, what are your thoughts? Here's one example.

I have to say, I think these look pretty darn good. Vote on the scale of 1-10, 1 being the worst, 10 being the best!

i think it's a decent design but watching from football products, i just have a feeling that these will not hold their value, imo.

it just doesn't have that high end look like upper deck made it...

how much are boxes going for?

A couple cases have sold around the $1,300 neighborhood.

I like it. Decent picture, good patch space, and on card auto. I voted 9.

It has all the makings for a great card: jumbo patch, big enough photo of the player, and on card auto. The problem is that for $300+ per box the price of these is going to be artificially inflated by people trying to make up for the junk single color jersey cards and common autos that are the other hits in this product. Great job on the rookies, poor job on adding value to the rest of the set.

After looking at the eBay listings for National Treasures I completely agree, outside of the rookies and some random low #'d cards, the value just isn't there.

They have regular size jersey swatches in this product. Even some of the patches are just the material around the arm or neck holes that is just different color fabric and not actual patch. Then they have manufactured patch autos of guys like Dave Cowens or Bill Walton, which look pretty damn similar to the rookies and stars manufactured patches. Pretty lame in such a high end product.

Agree, Exquisite always offers lots of value outside of the patch auto rookies - Jordan, Magic, Bird and on and on. That value isn't here in NT.

although bird and magic as well as kobe is part of the case hit, without mj or lebron's autos, there is just no way that NT or for that matter, any other panini basketball stuff to really hold its value for its box price....

they should've gotten barkley, ewing, pippen as well...

i see no derrick rose or durant either....are they ud exclusive?

Are we basing this off value or simply the card design?
I voted based simply on the design and quality of the card.....I gave it a solid 9.
I guess every one can have their own opinion..but IMO if you're voting 5-6 on design you're just being a hater. Maybe my opinion would switch having them in hand, but from the pics I'd put these up against any Exquisite Rookie.
Clean Design. Huge Patch. Decent picture. On-Card Auto....what more could you want?

Now if we're talking value....then yeah I get that. The ROI with all Panini products this year has been beyond horrible.

I gave'em a solid 8. They don't "wow" me with eye appeal, but these are going to be the best RCs to get.
Are all of the non-parallel RC patch autos numbered to 99? I like the short print run if that's the case.

What do people think is the potential on these?

I've been trying to figure out what prices these cards would be getting if they were Exquisite. Basically if Jennings, Evans, Curry and Griffin had an Exquisite RC Auto/Patch /99 (with patches this size) what do you think they'd be worth?

Twice what these are getting?

Double on those seems about right, my guess is that an Exquisite Evans would go for $750 or so.

Then again, I don't think James Harden Auto Patches /99 would get $300 (double [phil:2f13yk30]310239580903[/phil:2f13yk30]) but neither did I think the National Treasures would be at $150 at this point.

I think word is getting out how nice these cards are and prices are rising...

I think they are beautiful! I am worried that the prices arent going to come down. Hoping that 10/11 product will make them drop.

What do you guys think? Will the price on the singles go down, up or stay the same?

I think it depends how collectors perceived them. If people start to look at them like the new Exquisite (which I would assume was their intention with the /99) then there is room for them to increase a decent amount. If people start bunching them with the rest of the RC Auto's there's some room for them to fall.

They are just so much different from anything else Panini has offered, I don't see them getting lumped in with everything else.

the higher ends appear to be undervalued so far. I'd expect evans(should eventually be at D-Rose exquisite levels) and curry to be higher than they are now. Even not that great players are going for some decent money (Mullens, Budinger, Teague). The redemptions seem to fairly priced except that beaubois is undervalued considering he will probably be one of the stars of the team when he comes back.

Personally I think they'll only go up.
It's a small print run and really these cards are above and beyond any other RC Panini has produced....Once the initial flood is off of Ebay I can see these going up quite a bit.

I think they are great investments.
