Cameron Maybin hasn't done much to show me he's a big league caliber player, except those 32 at bats in September. Neither has Rasmus, but remember, power talks.

I guess Maybin is a better prospect at this point, but I'd rather invest in Rasmus.

We aren't talking about investments. We are talking about who would you rather start for your MLB team in 09.

I dont like either one as an investment. I was big on Maybin but gave up last year. I'm glad I sold when I did. If I had to choose though, I would pick Maybin.

Oh, then easily Maybin. Not even close. Rasmus played in a hitter's league and played poorly in it. There's still time for him to come back, though.

Rasmus had a bad year this year but was coming around when he got injured. Also if you take both players AA stats Rasmus out preformed maybin by a lot.

Texas League is a hitter's league. That being said, Rasmus was more impressive than Maybin a year ago.

Hitters league or not, 29 HR as an eighteen year old is impressive .
