Pulled a durant exquisite /35...Scan Added

I pulled a 07-08 durant rookie parallel 14/35 out of razor rookie retro and I wanted to know when you think the best time sell would be? I ask because I mainly focus on baseball. Honestly didn't know this card was so valuable! Needless to say I am fired up!!

Do you have a pic? what do you want for it? the best time to sell is between now and start of season.. he had a lot of hype this MVP and winning the championship for the USA...

or maybe not 15 years. :lol: But I'm of the belief he will be the best player in the league the next decade....so barring some sort of freak injury, imo that card is going to go up every single year.

You are crazy to think he is better then Lebron......... deff will be a top 5 player. When Durant starts dropping triple doubles come talk about best player in the league..... True. And with the role he'll have on the Heat he could very well approach averaging a triple-double. But that isn't going to matter if he doesn't win championships...and soon. It's fine to put up triple-doubles - but the Magic's, Pippen's, Kidd's of the world took a back seat to Jordan and then Kobe.

It's just my opinion but I see that when I see Durant. I do admit part of that is also souring on Lebron over the past year - just too many instances and stories that came out that seem to point out his true colors which are more of a pampered brat then a fierce competitor. Not saying Lebron won't retire as one of the greatest players ever.....just my opinion Durant is going to retire with more championships and points......and that's what people remember.

Lebron gave Durant his 1st scoring title... and Lebron will compete for the scoring title every year... you are crazy to think because Lebron Joined the Heat he is going to take a huge hit in scoring.. the guy will score 20pts off from free throw and dunks.. so he cant make up 10 more pts??? give me a break.. Everyone wanted to live his life and they are pissed he went to Miami... Most Talented player in the NBA.. Durant can score, i agree, but has a long way to go before he is in Lebrons class as a all around player.. Oh and Pippen, and kidd not even close to the impact Lebron has on the court... Magic maybe..... And the Thunder are not even close to winning a championship...

I could see the Thunder making a run this year vs. the Hawks in the finals. Two good teams with great chemistry will probably have a better shot at winning than 3 superstars and mario chalmers.

Sell it after he does something ridiculous during the season, i.e., consecutive 50 point games, lighting up the All-Star game, or closing out a team in the playoffs. Then diversify, either pick up a bunch of different Durant stuff or rookies of the other guys. With a card like that you really have an opportunity to build a nice collection.

Sorry for my mini-rant that went off topic.
I admit my argument is basically all speculation at this point...Lebron being a better player at this point is more or less fact.....for whatever reason he's just one of the few younger guys in any sport that has really amazed me.

ughh...why exactly would now be a good time to sell, it would probably be the worst, i mean yeah he got a little hype for the fiba but no one really pays attention to fiba basketball...sell the durant after he wins mvp and makes it to the playoffs this year, also your right thunder have no chance at beating lakers in the west but they will win at least there first round in which his prices will be highest...if you sell now you will be leaving ALOT ALOT of money on the table.

....who else watched fiba basketball but dedicated basketball fans? i mean honestly its not even worth arguing, his prices were highest last year during the playoffs and getting the accomplishment of being the nba scoring leader and it will be no different this year...and your trying to tell me kobes prices didnt jump up when he won mvp and a ring without shaq?

Kobe stuff hasnt jumped much at all over the past 5-8 years and never really did last year when they won the championship..Kobe no longer has hype which is why his stuff will never blow up.. Durant has hype and his cards are at their hottest point right now....are they gong to get hotter? Maybe because the hype is going to build into the season.... HYPE sells cards more then championships, mvps or scoring titles.... you will learn.. your worlds "sell the durant after he wins mvp and makes it to the playoffs this year" .... well sayings like that lead to HYPE

ummm i dont think i need to "learn" anything about basketball card prices my friend, been doing this quite awhile, and yes you are correct kobes stuff hasnt jumped much for many factors (hes already won a ring previously, hes getting older and is not the young phenom anymore) but do you remember how nuts his stuff went when he won his first ring? same thing will happen with durant no question.

Kobe's stuff didn't go crazy when he won the 1st ring.. it was already hot from the hype going into that season and they hype of winning in the playoffs...

People still haven't realized that Durant is the "next Jordan" while Lebron is really just the "next Magic." If you think right now is the high point for Durant's prices then you aren't paying attention. Give it another year with the Thunder being really good and Durant continuing to dominate and everyone will know.
