Really disappointed 2008-09 UD Black Multi autograph

When I saw description of UD black of this year(before released), I thought it would be amazing.

Furthermore, when I see below card, My heart was nearly stopped !

I thought and thought about buying if that card is on the water in the future.
(Of course, I have not been fan of them except KG. But that card looks crazy !!)
I also thought that card is definitely on-card autograph.


And..Now, I don't have to think about that looking crazy card anymore.
Because that on-card autograph might never be released ! In contrary, that was sticker autograph !

I don't know why UD always ruins their name value of nice Brands.

I can understand about lineage.

Because that brand is not premium brand.

And why people have to spend their precious bunch of money to sticker autograph?

Is it make sense?



I won't blame over producing of UD. But hmm..sticker autographs...

What do you think about this situation ?



P.S. : And Even above card is Octo autograph though..

why LBJ's autograph is not better and greater than other cheaper cards?

I don't think they've gone that low yet...yet is the key word...

The stickers kill my want to open the product, which is probably a good thing. I dont have the ash to open it anyway.

I think it's less about dumping the stickers (esp. since it's the silver sharpie) and more to do with them being lazy/and or not wanting to deal with redemptions.

Think about the headache it must be to have that card signed by 8 (or 4/6) different people. Much easier to slap the stickers on it. Still wouldn't mind pulling it, but agree with the OP - 1000% X better on-card.


Also, UD will still be including Jordan, Kobe, Lebron, etc. auto's in non-licensed products like the draft picks set they have coming out - so another reason why they won't need to "dump" the stickers in stuff like Exquisite (hopefully)

I have said over and over again, UD is not done with the NBA. They will only produce non-licensed cards. Which may be good for us. Becuase it will FORCE them to provide quality or else we will just flock to the licensed product. They have way too much money in Jordan/Lebron/Kobe/etc. to completely drop NBA cards.

It may be a good time to collect. Who knows.
