The last batch of Roger Clemens cards in that box seems to complete whats local for my 2005 Fleer Authentix sets. Missing are my patches

Ok attached are the following

Jersey General Admission - both the white and grey variations

Jersey Mezzanine /75 - white and white with pinstripe variation. Missing the grey

Jersey Club Box /25 - pinstripe. Honestly haven't seen a grey of this one

Jersey Standing Room Only /10 - Never saw one so no go

Before I get to my 2005 Flair Clemens a few stragglers in that box. Discovered another mislabeled slab after 20 years while I was at it

2005 MLB Showdown has base and foil variations. One of each found. Gotta locate my other raws

2005 Fleer Platinum - sigh. Found one slab, and realized they mislabeled it. This is the 2005 Fleer Platinum PLATINUM FINISH variation /199. So now I have another to get fixed next submission

One more loose slab from 2005 Fleer Legacy, this one his Auto Legacy/64. Never really deciphered the why behind the numbering. If anyone has a clue why they chose that amount I would love to learn something new

Starting off the 2005 Flair Roger Clemens slabs are some dual jersey pieces and an insert. The two base jerseys haven't been slabbed (yet) nor his base Flair card

Row 2 card /100
Row 1 cards is a 1/1 = do not own

Dual Jersey w/Bagwell / 99 = slabbed two, one for Bags and one for Clemens

Dual Jersey Die Cuts /50 = buried the 2nd raw copy but heres the one slabbed

I do not have his base Hot numbers or base Hot Number jersey slabbed yet. Cards with no serial numbers are last on the slabbing priority list

Last slab for the 2005 Flair set is below. Again not sure why 43 only, but when this total is taken into consideration with the 57 in the Fleer Legacy Auto series, seems they may have had 100 total in sheets and decided to split between the two series. Just food for thought

The 2005 Flair base set is a very nice looking set. It's a shame that Fleer/Skybox derailed that brand, I miss the high-gloss, triple thick card stock that started the Flair brand.

Its funny, Skybox was always regarded as a second rate brand for baseball among my collecting circle when the 90s was the present time. It was a basketball brand, and basketball cards were lame and worthless because everyone colle ted baseball. I never rated them as interesting or desirable, and so all the Uberhyped cards from them of this present time that people drool over I still dont really care about, even the Rubies and PMGs. Its hard to explain to people who started collectong AFTER after the 2000s, but it was and will always be to me sort of a step below all the real baseball brands. And Flair was super cool when it hit and was happening. The thick card thing was amazing when ut happened for every card, BEFORE relic cards existed.

Onwards in the purge of stuff is the 2005 Finest Roger Clemens stuff. Only slabbed the Xfractor because its serial numbered. Cannot locate a bunch of raw stuff (yet) that needs scanning, although I did find the Green Refractor but not his buddy

Have had this show stamped 2003 Donruss Elite Atlantic City National Albert Pujols jersey matching #5/5 in my show registry for years. Another registry participant sold it to me well above comps and I willingly paid. Bren its caretaker now for quite a while. Another one to be listed before XMAS

Two miscellaneous slabs from 2006 Topps 52 found in my 2005 box now scanned for purging. Sold a raw Gold in 2023 for some Topps Chrome boxes and regretting nothing. Mint 9 is fine these Chromes are notorious for surface bubbles and bad centering

Today I need to skip a few sets. Trying to work downwards on the purge, but am missing 3 sets of stuff which means somewhere theres a box of misfiled items. Will have to wait on my 2005 Elite - should have 31, can only find 4 slabs. Cannot locate any 2005 Donruss Team Heroes either. And the box with all my 2005 Donruss Champions is probably with all those slabs

We are left with 2005 DONRUSS CLASSICS. Found a bunch of those so I'll scan for the purge

The different shape of the first two cards means multiple posts.

Someone at either DLP or their supplier wrote 23 on the production form instead of 22. When they first came out folks were avoiding thinking its fake. I'd already become used to hobby production numbers not making sense and figured the loss of their license would result in crazy stuff

Before this coming weekends planned trip to storage I found more 2005 Roger Clemens slabs. These from 2005 Diamond Kings. I used to use this set and other high variation sets as "fillers" on my bulk subs. Only slabbed because those fills protected other more sensitive items. Generally put these at the top or bottom of sub piles, so if they returned high graded were sheer dumb luck
