The one's in the packs have soft corners, I don't think the ones that are encased though do.

seems like elite is the way to go, that's what I figured. It's the prospect based product so that's what I was expecting. Thanks guys.

Well the porcello's in elite are /1299 not /1499 and lets face it Elite is a traditional prospect product. Besides All of porcello's auto's in prime cuts are encased and the majority have fuzzy corners.

I say Elite all the way but I'll let my Sig Speak for itself

The ones in the case are prone to soft corners as well. The damage was done before they were encased.

I think that regardless of the lower serial numbering, Elite will be the better of the choice's. This goes for any of the prospects whom share the above mentioned products, as I really think the baseball card community as a whole knows EEE to be an established brand for prospects (we've seen what they are capable of & we are creature's of habit/routine). Besides, I think the Prime Cuts have somewhat of a "insert" feel to them (plus the fact that in that same product you can pull several other version's of the prospect- Contenders Preview & the other that I'm pulling a blank on right now). I'm not saying the Prime Cuts are bad investments because I would argue differently (they have great potential to make you a "*** O' Green" just as well...but not "just as well")! :D

The only reason I like the Prime Cuts is because you're getting a game-used jersey with the auto. And if Contenders is going to be as limited as I think then that will be a goodie as well.

Well, there are two prime cuts versions...auto and auto jersey both numbered to 249...if I went the Prime Cuts route, I would go with the Leaf Limited Phenoms auto
