Lasorda was one of my all-time favorite managers. A Dodgers legend for sure.

I just saw that a few minutes ago. He was just released from the hospital a few days ago too. RIP.

As great of a manager that he was, his managing skills were greatly under rated because of the great showman that he was in the game of Baseball. RIP MR. Lasorda.

My brother and I met Lasorda at a signing at the Bob Feller museum a few years back. Great guy. He and Feller were both very approachable and loved to chat. Must have spent 20-30 minutes with Feller telling us stories. My Dad and my Father In-law were both huge Dodgers fans.
