Rolling Michigan 1/1 pickup thread

I've been thinking about starting this and figured what the hell. Got in my 78th Michigan 1/1 today, and figured I could just keep track of them in here. I'll be doing some sort of contest when I get to 100, probably just a guess the player sort of thing.

This is a big one for me, as I really started going after 1/1's hard in 2007. Michigan had 6 guys drafted that year; Leon Hall, Steve Breaston, Lamarr Woodley, Alan Branch, David Harris and Prescott Burgess. Out of 24 total press plates in the set, this one puts me at 13/24, over 50%. I've only seen one other that I don't own, and that's because I slept through the auction. I'm also trying for all of the red refractor 1/1's, and have picked up the only 3 I've seen.

Here are a few others. I've really gotta clean up this album.

I was on a roll there for a few months, I bet I picked up 10-15 new ones over 2 months. Then nothing until tonight. I've passed on a handful of them because sellers wouldn't come down from their BIN prices but I also missed one that ended while I was at work and it slipped my mind. Can't win them all.

Consider me jealous. I've wanted to start collecting Michigan alum once I get some funds to start collecting again. I've been trying to think for months and months who/what to collect and I keep coming back to two ideas. Adrian Peterson (too expensive for me) and Michigan alum. So I think I'll be going with the second option hopefully sometime remotely soon. I doubt I'll ever have the collection that you do, but hey.

Congrats on that Harris! IMO he's one of the best linebackers to ever wear the maize and blue and one of the best at the LB position in the NFL today.
