Going to be in Omaha this coming Monday and was thinking about catching the Storm Chasers play the OKC Red Hawks at the new Werner Park. I'd like to try and get some autos, balls, or game used stuff if I could. Do you guys have any advice that could help me out? Thanks

They made it super easy to get autos at this park. I went there last weekend and got Moustakas, Montgomery and Hosmer. The players locker rooms are in left field. They have to make there way through a gate in the left field wall and walk up a ramp to get to the locker rooms. My advice would be to go to the end of the ramp (nearest the locker rooms, they look like 2 huge sheds) and stand near the fence and rail. Players have to walk by you to get to the field.

I think the gates only open up an hour b4 game time, so you will get to see the end of astros bp and can probably catch them on the way back to the locker room. If not just wait until they come out to stretch and you should have no problem. Good luck!

watch out for Moose, the guy is a tool. In nashville a few weeks ago he said that he would sign after game for everyone, after turning us all done. Well I went up to him after game as he was waiting for the bus to come. He had ear buds in with an ipod out, so I didnt think it was a big deal If i asked him to sign cause he wasn't on the phone. He tried to tell me that he was on the phone at the time, when he hadn't even initiated a conversation with whoever he was on the phone with, so I said ok and just waited for the bus to pull up. Then he ran up to the bus , and pretty much said that he ain't signing anymore. I had to leave the next day to get back to milwaukee. Hosmer was real cool though did 1 per but was really nice about it.

Id buy a rawlings official major league baseball and use a bic blue ball point pen for the autos. And dont worry about that above story about Moustakas, every player can have an off day. He was more than willing to sign for me and a few others and even personalized a baseball for me.

At this park you should have pretty good success. Good luck!
