I now see his point. Thats just BAD!As if the original wasnt cool....... unreal. People are..... just ugh
The first Griffey 1/35 sold back on Nov 07, 2010 and the 2nd one sold on March 19, 2011.To make $130 profit?
The ebay community is really starting to sour me lately. Lots of great sellers on there, but the slime is starting to get thicker and thicker. Lazy sellers who can't figure out how to properly package things, gougers who profit on shipping, scum bags who knowingly sell fakes, etc. The hobby selling profile is turning for the worse in my opinion. I am feeling less sad about the end of my run as I thought I would.
So, are they chasing the buyers who now possess stolen goods?Topps Sues Seller of Misprinted Cards That Disappeared from Texas Plant
Topps says cards being sold late last year by one eBay seller were supposed to have been destroyed. Now they're suing him.www.sportscollectorsdaily.com
I think that would be too much work for Topps. And costing them time and money to prosecute those people. So, are they chasing the buyers who now possess stolen goods?
Where is cardcop when you need him?To make $130 profit?

I suppose that depends on how their ownership is viewed by law. The buyers probably bought in good faith, unaware of the fact that these items may have been stolen. However, I also imagine that stolen property could possibly be seized and given back to the owner (with or without compensation to the current owner or original buyer). Would suck to have purchased something like that and then have it seized as stolen property, especially if that buyer was not compensated for that purchase, if that is possible. So, are they chasing the buyers who now possess stolen goods?
row 9 9th card over. is that the Aramis Ramirez card?but the first patch card is numbered 1/35.. the second patch card is numbered 1/35 as well.
As for the set this is what it looks like complete!
(I just wish they would have made the Eckersley, Fingers, Perry and Cabrera!)

Yup, same seller as my video to start this thread has the 2nd one you posted w lots of yellow in patch. Seems likely he is the card doctor. One of my favorite niche sets is the 2006 WBC patch cards from flagship Upper Deck. Only 8 copies each, unnumbered, and 90 players, months go by without a single copy showing up. Recently, someone has been posting fake Roger Clemens patches.
This one sold for a best offer of $78. Same seller now has this one in a straight auction:
Now, I'll admit that I don't know every one of these cards ever made, but there are a couple huge red flags. First, they say "jersey" on them instead of "patch." Second, the silver border around the patch and flag should be gold, not silver. Third, and more subjectively, the colors on the patch look off on the first one. The dark area should be more obviously blue and the piping should be a deeper, flatter red. I don't think that's the brightness and saturation of a camera image, it's just not the right jersey. Here is my Clemens to compare.

Maaaaybe they somehow slipped patches into jersey cards. And maybe the seller happened to acquire both of these unusual cards. But come on.
