Bilko and I decided we should start a new talk thread for the 2011 Playoffs.

I changed Bilko's description of "The Hockey Talk Thread" but it's the same theory...

What is "The Playoff Hockey Talk Thread" and why do we need it if we have a Hockey Forum?

Consider TPHTT much like the morning thread on the Baseball boards or the daily thread on the Football boards. It is a thread for us Hockey members to talk about anything Hockey that is on our minds that might not need a separate thread of its own. Usually we have most of our game day talk in this thread. Talk about a player having a big game, or a minor trade or signing or maybe even some hobby news that you want to share.

Really this thread can be used to talk about anything that is on your mind, even stuff that isn't Hockey related but you wanted to share with the other FCB Hockey members.

Gotta start getting used to those late weekday nites again for the Vancouver-Hawks series, which I think will be fantastic.

Same for Pens-'Ning...

Most pressure on Caps and Canucks. I expect the Canucks to choke and lose out round 1. Chicago has no pressure. They shouldn't even be in playoffs. Have Cup in the bank already.

Seems a few teams are struggling to sell playoff tixs.

Phoenix, Tampa and Nashville?

Did i miss any others?

those would be my guesses as well and possibly Detroit. I know during the 2007-08 & 2008-09 Finals Pens fans had no trouble getting tickets in Detroit.

I went to the CEC today to buy my White-Out tshirt and took a pic of the giant MAF window decal. it came out kinda blurry because it was raining. I will take another pic on Friday night.

I was shocked, but both the Bruins and Penguins have seats available. On local radio Bruins have ran adds for getting tix and I know when I watched the Penguins - NYI game on Friday on free preview, every other commercial was Stigy and Errey pushing playoff tixs that were available. Bucco any news on if Pens sold out? I'm sure Boston will, plenty of Habs fans make the drive. Some season ticket holders pass on playoff tixs. Will be interesting watching the games to see how many are packed and how many have empty seats.

there are still tickets available for Game 1 of the Pens Lightning series. I'm sure they will sell out tomorrow though.

the Pens have had 206 consecutive regular season sellouts.
