Yeah I know, goofy title.

But if he does fulfill his potential, his auto cards could be very interesting to watch, here's why.

Chrome is king supposedly, but will it be with his card considering this is what they all look like 1428975897608.jpg

Yep, a very very ugly "in person like" auto ALL OVER the card.

Now here's his other first year auto 1428976043373.jpg.

Much better obviously but it's sterling.

Now HERE'S where it gets interesting.

1428976297961.jpg. It's a second year card BUT it's his first and only Red Sox auto. But it's a sticker AND a decent amount of them have the sticker affixed crooked.

So, assuming he does reach his potential, what's going to be THE card?

Personally, I like the 2013 Bowman Sterling best but the Bowman chrome auto will win out especially over the 2nd issue year 2014 Sterling sticker auto.

The card will be his first regardless of what the auto looks like. If bgs deems the auto a ten not many will care what it looks like.

Is he related to the Brewers/Royals pitcher from the 70s with the same name by chance?

On Card, first year, chrome. Almost always wins!
Sterling looks a bit better IMO, and Leaf isn't half bad.
