Fake Meadows / Arozarena dual autograph found in 2022 Topps Definitive. https://bit.ly/3IsOB6I
I read this elsewhere, and read the Topps response, which is: send the card back to Topps, we will replace it with the proper card, and send you a replacement /new box of Definitive. So that makes the fake card worth [temporarily] a little under $2,000?

I suppose one could look at it that way. Although the opportunity cost associated with the hobby created from a card like this could be in the millions.

Not to excuse what happened, because it's inexcusable, but kudos to the new owners for the response. I feel like the old ownership would have just said, oh send it in if you want and we'll replace it with a random card of "equal value." By making the cost to Topps so high, it comes off to me like they are dead serious about not doing stupid stuff like this.

Baseball Trivia:
Who was the key player from the Cardinals who was traded for Jason Heyward in 2014?

Usually I share this resource earlier in the year but either way, it's stuffed with tons of information to help you make the most of your trip to The National. I've updated it to include a chart that shows which airlines fly into which airports for the AC venue. https://bit.ly/3opUYyy

Buck O'Neil was an incredible guy...a true legend! I love listening to his stories and when he sang "Take Me Out To The Ballgame". When I was a kid, I waited a couple of hours by the White Sox team bus for big Frank to come out after a Royals game. There was a crowd of people (mostly kids) in the nearby reserved parking lot and they were around Buck. He stood there, in the heat, and signed every single autograph until the last person was gone.

If you're ever in Kansas City, going to the Negr0 Leagues Museum is a must! See if you can chat with Bob Kendrick.
