More Nestle promotional items- these from the 2001 Topps Nestle Ice Cream Partners 6 card promotional giveaway

They had a few great prizes including autographed baseballs plus 25 Autographed cards of Chipper Jones or Alex Rodriguez. Would love to see an authentic Arod or Chipper auto surface again-if anyone has one that would be great
Odds of getting an auto version were 1 in 350,000 - think I saw one in 2004 and none since then

Looks like Beckett doesn't even list the rest of the set- neither the balls nor the autograph cards are listed
I'll have to provide my guy with the appropriate proof to get them listed
Guess I gotta dig up my box again and research more when I get time got other priorities right now

Back in THIS 2003 UPPER DECK GAME FACE THREAD I posted about my slabbed Clemens from the 2003 Upper Deck Game Face series. I did finally locate my promo cards along with numerous examples of his short printed (SP) base items ( see pics for examples) . I also located my July 2003 Beckett Baseball magazine that had the box breakdown and overview of the series. Figured I'd add updated info in this thread since they are not slabbed


Below is an example of his PROMO card. They were inserted into Tuff Stuffs
Finding ones in good shape are actually difficult due to the distribution methods
Also shown below is five short prints of his base card. I may have more buried I tended to collect SP items

Think the boxes were not cheap due to it being Hideki Matsui's rookie season but I'll keep looking to see if I still own an unopened one

While not early 2000's some of the best inserts always occured in Upper Decks Ultimate products
Digging up some thick stuff I never sent in for slab protection that will be going on feebay soon

This 2009 Ultimate Eight combo of pitchers and catchers has SEVEN current Hall of Famers and a guy who if injuries had not derailed his career surely would have been an eigth with two Cy Youngs in such a short period .Purchased this with the intent of adding to my Fisk registry years ago and just never got around to slabbing it. One of those cards that people went nuts for and still do for obvious reasons

Another rare 2009 Ultimate piece being listed on feebay soon. While the Ultimate 8's were great and included Hall of Famers and current stars these Legendary 8 were all Hall of Famers , stacked with many of whom are inner circle.

This one below is literally loaded- and I do mean LOADED. I love of course the wording on the card back
" Certified as to having been used in a baseball game " -- ha ha !! No mention of the type of game
Could be a player career one, old timers, All-star, Spring training , Rookie Ball or minor leagues - who knows !!

Last Ultimate cards limited life expectancy on feebay lasted 45 minutes- had one online offer and two offline chose the safety of the online offer. Offline I didn't know the people so I avoided any hassle there
