Added Wander Suero to the needs list. He gave up a walk-off hit and is back down to AAA. His ERA is literally infinity.

Spencer Arrighetti debuted (strike out for first two batters he faced, let's see if that continues the whole game) and I already had one ready for him.

Forrest Whitley debuted last night. I have had at least 8 of his autos over the last decade but I sold them all years ago thinking he was a mythical creature that didn't actually exist.

I have one coming to fill that oversight.

This week brought a balance. Two new players debuted after tonight: Trey Cabbage and Joey Loperfido.

I also took two names off of the needs list.


Forrest Whitley, already injured again, but he did get to make his debut.


Rylan Bannon. I will try to upgrade this in the future, but the Minor League card will work for now.

Wade LeBlanc upgraded from a Minor League auto. Obtained in a private signing.

Picked up a Jose Abreu to knock him off the needs list. He may go down as the worst free agent signing in Astros history.

I am always watching, but not always commenting.

Most of my posts make me feel the same way. Not bashing, but I am not sure I understand why the daily thread gets more action than most others when it is really about nothing (any why there even needs to be a DAILY post about nothing). I just think this format (message boards) is slowly dying off. Most people are on phones now and that limits some functionality, although I am 98% desktop activity when I am on this site. Its also all about content, transactions and fast paced action and that doesn't seem to be the vibe on the various card boards anymore, Images are almost always phone cameras now too (days of scanned images are past us). Facebook seems to be picking up a lot of steam with all the various groups, at least that seems to be my perspective. i've spent a good number of years interacting on these types of sites and I hate to think they may be extinct someday.

I do agree, but it's hard to walk away. I left Beckett with FCB blossomed out of that disaster. I'll always have a soft spot for message boards.

Brian Fisher obtained TTM. This is an upgrade over a Minor League card.

It's one of my earliest attempts at a face swap, so you can see Biggio's face underneath his pretty clearly lol

I honestly haven't seen this many new players in one year since the dark days of 2011-2014.

Dan Straily. Obtained on commission at his Minor League team.

Huge addition that only a team collector can appreciate.


Brandon Bailey, obtained in person in the Florida Development League on commission.

Bailey only pitched 7 innings in 2020, then got hurt. He never had a card made and his injury ended his career, so no other teams. He's now a pitching instructor. Guys like this have a tendency to disappear, so I'm PUMPED to have him off my list.
