And is really taking advantage of collectors. They were banking on STras carrying every product for the rest of the year so the roll the presses on Topps chrome and look what happened. A lot of it had to do with speculators who are usualy 1 case buyers ordering 5-10 thinking they're going to make a ton like they did off 2010 bowman. But who i REALLY blame are distributors who were accepting these ridiculous prebooks. As a result of the huge orders topps rolled the presses and put a ton of GARBAGE autos in there not caring what it would do to the product. And now we're seeing some moron from Cali selling TONS of cases at UNDER factory cost on ebay and then has to pay the $50 fee. Just another front for a distributor who has to dump product and kill it for everyone else.

Now with this chrome, why do a bunch of guys from 2010 bowman have chrome cards (i.e. martin perez, etc)? Just another way to water down the set. And the top 100s....1 per box...INSANE!

UGH....my frustration level is through the roof!!!

You told me to read.

Now I want my 2 minutes back.

Get over it. The autos in the set are not crap and the product was not to be headlines by Strasburg alone. Yes, presses were cranked, but there is extra stuff added for value.

This isn't a product for immediate returns.

Boo Hoo... this is a hobby where people collect what they want and enjoy there cards. If you are into this HOBBY for profit, its best to move on and find something else to do.

FYI you have been able to pick them under cost for quite some time, now we're just seeing basic supply and demand economics. take a seat and enjoy the ride....

If a distributor is selling cases below factory cost...how does that kill it for everyone else?

I would think collectors and prospectors would like that. I bought a case for $419 shipped. Quite happy. Only ones that dont like it are the ones selling boxes. You win some.....

But it is their responsibity to make you money.

No, it really isn't.

They offer a product and I can buy it or pass. It's my business to know which one. But of course, I do not say much about my day job on here, because they like to keep things close to the vest.

I always thought Topps was primarily responsible to themselves and to those that gave them the license(s) to make cards.

ONLY 1 important question here, WHERE CAN I GET IN AT 419 dLVd?

You're right Chris, it isn't their responsability to make me money, but how does it feel selling T206 for like $38/box when you're in for far more than that. And you guys really make me laugh....do you realize the more people keep losing money selling wax the less there will eventually be for people to buy singles because eventually all wells run out.

I never said the auto checklist was bad, but they don't need 41 autos in a set! Why not just make each set 20 autos. Look what happened to 08 draft...not a ton of autos and turned out great. what happened to 08 chrome with 40 something autos---been a closeout for years now...you guys are real tough...i guess ill just stick to trying to buy and trade on here....sorry for the comment...WOW

Don't take it personally or let it bother you. I can see you are trying to run a business, i would be upset if this happened to me as well.

as far as set builders looking for singles, there will always be people willing to give stuff away including cheap
wax. Dealers have proven that they are always willing to go a little less.

About a week and a half ago? Atlanta had it at that price. Cheap Update too. Grabbed a TC case thanks to the thread that was on here mentioning it. (Cant find the thread. Thanks goes out to the OP for sharing the info!) Once I busted the case I went back to grab another but saw it went back up. Great price IMO.

I've seen this question asked on here and Blowout a dozen times and I haven't bothered giving an answer because I figured it would be easy to figure out. Guess I was wrong.

The repeats - Perez, Myers, Marte, etc - only had autos in BwC. They did not have base cards. Now they do

Surely I'm not the only one who figured that out
