Having a yard sale this weekend, figured I could sell some of my baseball cards off.

I've sold most of my collection off, besides Wainwrights & a few select Cardinals, but I still have a bunch of base left. Most of it is pretty good base, from 2002-10.

Any ideas on how to sell these? Lots of 50 for maybe $2?

Just looking to get creative and make a little bit of money.

Thanks!

People coming to yard sales are looking for magnificent deals. If you really want to dump, off the entire lot for $50

Sold base for .10 each last garage sale. Had a box of jersey cards as well that sold well for $2-3 per.

I used to give people a plastic bag and had a huge box of commons with stars mixed in. Told folks 5 bucks for a handful. Made a killing for that. I walked away with probably 3-400 dollars. Got rid of a ton of cards too.

So if I sold them in lots of 50, I shouldn't expect $.10 per, as people could pick what they wanted. So maybe $3

Blanning - Sounds like a good plan. I didn't really want to just have them laying out in a box though.

Mack-- you could probably break them down and do lots of 100 for 2 or 3 bucks each. I think that if someone saw a thicker stack of cards, then they would bite on the 3 dollar price tag. Every grandparent is looking for something to send their grandkids to college with. Perhaps also do grab bags with a junk g/u or auto in it for like 5 bucks. Easy way to move those as well.

I'd stuff a couple 300 count boxes full and put $5-$8 price tags on them and see how you do. Might be a bit high pricewise, but you can always lower it if they're not selling.
