1. Starlin Castro flirts with .400 most of the season.
2. Albert Pujols struggles to start the season, only hits 1 HR through April.
3. Eric Hosmer will be playing back in Omaha before June.

I have more, but my Magic 8-Ball only wants me to share those.

1. Johnny Cueto wins 20 games. Doesn't win the CY because of low K rate.
2. Drew Stubbs Goes 25/75 (HR/SB)
3. Jesus Montero wins the AL ROY with a .312BA and 32 HR

1) Matt Wieters becomes, statistically and defensively, the best catcher in baseball with a .285/100/30/110 season
2) Josh Johnson stays healthy and edges out Clayton Kershaw for the NL Cy Young award with an ERA under 2.20 and 20 wins
3) Mike Stanton hits 52 HRs
4) Pablo Sandoval finishes in the top 5 in NL MVP voting

I am sorry, but can't stop    about the Hosmer going to Omaha thing. I just can't see that happening. But, it is a bold prediction-perhaps bold doesn't do it justice

I'm going to list more than three because I could see all of these happening, but they ARE bold:

Alex Gordon has a 30-30 season and finishes in the top 3 in AL MVP voting
A.J. Burnett has 225 K's
Scott Baker wins the AL Cy Young with an 19-4 2.45 season
The Cardinals finish in 4th place behind Cincinnati, Milwaukee, and Pittsburgh
Matt Wieters is the starting catcher for the AL in the All-Star game
Michael Cuddyer finishes in the top 5 in NL MVP voting
Dee Gordon will steal 70 bases
5 teams from the AL will make the playoffs and the Yankees will NOT be one of them.
5 teams from the NL will make the playoffs and the Nationals WILL be one of them.
The Royals take the AL Central (which is more bold this one or Burnett's?)
There will not be any no-hitters thrown this year.

I might come up with more later.

1. Nats win one of the new wild cards (you said bold right?)
2. Bobby V is out as manager before the year is over.
3. Bryce Harper wins AL ROY

That is VERY bold, no pun intended.

That's the one that's the funniest? That seems like the most logical one to happen out of the 3.. IMO.

Good Start

Buster Olney?@Buster_ESPN

Terrible luck for A.J. Burnett; out with a broken orbital bone around his right eye

Meh he'll brush it off. He doesn't throw with his face.

That's true, but he's having surgery tomorrow. I'm not sure he'll be ready for the beginning of the season, and he's going to need every game to get to 225. I was really pulling for both of you on that one. I'd like to see A.J. succeed.

I saw the play, it didn't look that bad... I mean, when the ball hit his face. He looked really terrible in that Pirates uni though!
