i dont know about cases but i planned on using this release to make a transition into 2010 football wax. i have heard that chrome in football is a solid release with a strong lineup of veterans and rookies. however i am undecided on when i am going to buy or how much i am going to crack... maybe 3-5 boxes?

No cases for me, as I just don't have that kind of money to drop all at once. I'll probably end up buying 3-6 boxes over a period of time.

Granted I'm still enjoying the '09 product!

It was a long running joke at the shows that I had become a Jason Smith Supercollector. It got to the point where everyone would bring me their Jason Smith autos and patches, which I would buy inevitably because they were so cheap.

Or at least I've had the same experience as you. Unless you hit one of the couple boxes per case that have a decent refractor or A/B auto - retail may be the better buy. I've picked up a few blasters every year - seem to end up with more rc's and inserts than in hobby packs.

Though I do find myself wanting to pick up some chrome now......I think it's because I've seen more threads and discussions about this ears release than any previous year - it's subliminally effecting me. :lol:
