Tomorrow BA will release the Oakland A's Top 10 Prospects list. I'm fairly certain one of these two will be their #1 prospect.

Who do you think will take it? Cast your votes.

No question in my mind it is Cahill.

A Plus FB, Plus-Plus Curve, dominating stats? I think he is the 3rd best pitching prospect in baseball. Possibly second.

Cahill gets the #1 to me no doubt. I really do like Anderson though, hell I like the A's whole pitching staff but Cahill is a "Legit" prospect to me.

If it were up to me, I would choose Anderson, hence my vote. Do I really think he'll be number 1? No. He'll be 2. I think he'll have the better career, though.

Cahill will undoubtedly be number one, but I'm beginning to think Anderson will be the better pitcher in the long run. Cahill reminds me too much of Hudson and Harden. Dominant pitchers but they have such small frames for as hard as they throw that they end up breaking down a lot.

I have been waiting for this list as I highly endorse both Cahill and Anderson. Anderson is more polished while Cahill has natural sink on his fastball producing strikeouts and groundouts.

I would say Cahill definately has the higher ceiling, but I love that Anderson's father coaches college baseball. We have seen this as a good influence on other players, ironically such as system-mate Matt Holliday.

Jamile Weeks....HAH!!!!

Ok seriously...they are going to say Cahill. However, I would argue that even though Anderson's H9 and HR9 numbers are higher than Cahill....it is because he is in the strike zone more often. His K/BB ratio and BB9 was considerably better at both levels. Now don't get me wrong here...I'm not saying that Cahill is Wild!!!! Not by any stretch...and maybe Anderson gets crushed at higher levels because he is in the strike zone too much???? But I dont think so...their WHIP's are almost Identical. I'd rather see a few more hits and far fewer walks personally.

Did I ramble...sorry!!!!

Hey J.P. what do you have Cardenas as 1-10 wise?

Here is my own personal A's Top 10:

OAK Athletics
1) Trevor Cahill
2) Brett Anderson
3) Michel Inoa
4) Adrian Cardenas
5) Gio Gonzalez
6) Fautino de los Santos
7) James Simmons
8) Henry Rodriguez
9) Jemile Weeks
10) Vin Mazzaro
On the Cusp – Aaron Cunningham
Team Sleeper – Rashun Dixon

I know full well that some will critique my omission of Chris Carter, but I've never been a fan of his. I find the Frank Thomas comparisons to be laughable.
