Thanks, Dano7! I've been out of the loop collecting for the last ten years but thought it might be fun to collect some 1952 Topps - now that that they seem so much more affordable - and getting them signed by the players who are still around and are still signing ttm. It's been a blast so far getting the returns. I'm still waiting on Carl Erskine - sent him a 1952 of his to get signed two weeks ago. Thinking of getting Dick Groat next but his 1952 is pricey. If I can find a good one with some nice eye appeal around $100, I'll probably do it. If you got any suggestions in terms of players who still sign from the 1952 Topps set, just let me know. Thanks.
My other summer project is trying to get my 1985 Fleer Limited Edition 44-card set signed - I had this set as a kid and love the player selection in it. I'm only getting the players who sign for free or for ten dollars (or under). I'd rather spend my money on the 1952 Topps guys and cards.
