we had to unload trailer of oil dry with hand trucks 1000 bags 40 pound bag then hand stack --never saw other mangers but they sure fussed about shipping late to them . think truck load of battery 's same . way . I had to deal with 24 other store mangers and a few customers . 100 phones calls a day to me . I don't carry a cell today LOLMorning all! First loads of seeding going out today. Unfortunately, the semi we normally use to deliver seed is out of commission, so we are having to use pickups with gooseneck trailers. What would normally be 2 trips with the semi for one farmer, is going to be 5 trips with the pickups.
Thankfully, where we are, it's only about 40 growers for our area. Not all take delivery, some come in and pick it up, which usually means we are dumping the totes of seed into their seed tender for them. 31 growers for our other location that get seed, but there are a lot of smaller guys there in terms of acres. Our average field size is 120 acres here, other place is closer to 50-60 acres, all due to irrigation. We have center pivots, where the other place has gravity irrigation with the canals/ditches.we had to unload trailer of oil dry with hand trucks 1000 bags 40 pound bag then hand stack --never saw other mangers but they sure fussed about shipping late to them . think truck load of battery 's same . way .
