I actually liked what they did.

Kept their core intact but jettisoned guys they prob wouldn’t have kept anyway.

It sounds a bit crazy but I think letting Alonso walk had a profound psychological affect on the locker room.

Like the Phils losing Schwarber, KC losing Perez or even the Yanks losing Judge would…

Primaries & four state amendments on the ballot today. I don't trust any of the candidates. The amendments are written to confuse and start arguments between the voters. Just state "Are in in favor of X" Yes or No?

Then a dentist appointment. One cavity and replace a broken crown.

The Royals are worse after the trade deadline. Worse now and for the future. Their 40-man roster has 13 on the IL, eight that are on the 60-day IL and nine in the minors. Only one that is a prospect and he's had one start with 2 IP, a 9.00 ERA, 4 BB and a 3.00 WHIP this season.

Other than that, it's a Great day!!!

Morning all. Cool day here today after weeks of 90-100+. Only in the 60's today. Was hoping for maybe something more from the Twins yesterday, but I don't know what. With them on the edge of the playoffs, they have some work to do, and addressed their biggest weakness with the bullpen. Didn't want to see Dasan Hill traded, but I get it. Hopefully Hoffman finds his groove in the Twins pen. He's been great the last few weeks for the Jays
