10 entries? My strategy is toast, haha. Somebody who picks all huge stars like Ruth, Mantle, Gehrig will beat my team if they even slip like 3 names through. I had fun making my team, though.

I'll admit, I threw in a couple of big names, but expected somebody else to do the same. I did mine in my free time at work this week, which wasn't much. I did have a few obscure ones on my initial list, but got in a hurry and lost the list

Now that it is closed, my two big names that I used were Mickey Mantle and Jimmie Foxx. Did anyone else nail me on those?

Looks like I won per a PM from Cjedmonton. I was playing the spoiler and picked pretty much the top 10 in each category, expecting at least someone else to essentially eliminate each of my choices. Although he was fairly high on the list, my "odd" pick was Tommy John.

Sadly, for the fun of the game, not enough entries. I thought about really scrubbing the lists for some odd names, but also figured everyone else would think the same way. I know with more contestants, the results would have been different.

I hope he provides some stats or details as well. I was curious to see how low on the WAR scale someone could get and still win, but I blew that theory.
