Hey guys, I know these types of threads aren't that popular, but I just busted a case of 2010 Bowman Chrome and pulled a card I could really use some input on:

Bowman Chrome Rookie Auto RED Refractor Stephen Strasburg #205 Redemption:

I would 1,000,000,000,000,000% sell as a redemption as opposed to trying to redeem it

Disagree
I would contact Topps, verify that they have these in hand ready to fulfill the redemption
Once you confirm, redeem that card, get it in hand, get it graded and be ready to sell at a moments notice!

Why wouldn't they have it?

I would be better able to help you if I could see the back of the card. Please PM me a scan of it.

thanks.

j/k, congrats, i have no idea of current value, but i would definately sell during spring while hopes are still high.

If you like rolling the dice on a kid who's already been hurt once, then let him roll to an 10-2 start and sell at the All Star break when everyone is wondering if he can keep up a sub 2.00 era.

These should be signed if the other parallels are out there in circulation now. I'd say you're looking at 2,000-2,500. Maybe more depending on spring training hype.

No reason they would'nt be signed. If the Base, ref, blue, gold, and oranges are signed why wouldn't 5 reds be?

Sick pull. Hopefully he is good this year

Agreed.

However I do not think right now is the time to sell. Strasburg still has once in a lifetime talent and 'should' put up phenomonal numbers rather quickly. I would wait for a verlander-esque moment to sell.

I'd say a range between $2,500 - $4,000. It's hard to define a good price.

Wow, that's crazy!! My best pull ever prior to this was an Bowman Chrome Austin Jackson Superfractor Auto 1/1 that I sold for $1500. Does anyone know what number I would call at Topps to check on the stock of this card?

Hence the "moments notice" comment :D

I don't know why you'd want to. I'd just redeem it. They have it in stock for sure since they have all the other ones signed.
