I like her apology!
4-0 thru 2 so far today...
hoping the best for your mom, your a good son.Evening all! What a 24 hours! I called my mom about 5:30 last night. She wasn't feeling good so I told her we'd talk later. About 30 minutes later she called back saying "can you come over and let the ambulance in, stroke" and hung up. It's 45 minutes east to her house. I hauled a$$ not knowing what exactly was going on. I got there a friend told me maintenance let the paramedics in and they took her to the hospital (an hour west of my house, in KCMO) I hauled a$$ again. Met my brother & his family at the hospital. Tests showed no sign of a stroke but her right side is not working properly. I got home after midnight.
Did the whole drive again today to take her stuff she wanted from her house. She's doing a little better. I left when they were taking her for an MRI. Hopefully that helps to figure out what's wrong and what they need to do. Recently her new doctor changed a bunch of her meds. I know nothing about medical stuff but I'm hoping it's a reaction to the new meds.
