Be8el0ve- you'd probably know better than anyone: is there a Jeter collector out there that is on the same level as you? :) Seriously, you pick up the best cards of almost ANY player collector, and you're swimmin' in a pretty big pool.

good luck with the rest of it.

Truly one of the best collections on the boards. Great Jeter/Mantle dual!

Thanks for the comments guys. :D There is at least one collector that I know of that must have an amazing Jeter collection. His ebay ID is Meawickedmon. I'm always bidding against him on many cards but the difference is he loves to pick up Jeter's low numbered parallels and autos. I've seen him win tons of 1/1 autos and print runs of /5, /10, and /25 on a daily basis. I've spoken to him a few times and he seems like a really nice guy. He actually lives about 35 minutes from me. Maybe we should display our collection together one day. ;) I'm sure there are other big time collectors, but he is the one guy that really stands out.

My favorite RC set of Hideki "The Fonz" Matsui. Picked up the blue to give me the red/white/blue rainbow.

Dude,

you are the Wossa of jeters and player collectors. Your collection is insane. There is NO doubt in my mind that you spend more on jeters a week than I make at my job. WOW

Just arrived today. Sorry for using the eBay scan, but it arrived in a screwdown and I can't seem to find the screwdriver to open it (the one I use for my glasses just won't cut it :P). Won it for under $12 delivered. Anyone else think this ended low? It's numbered 10/10 and an impossible pull from a base Topps set (update set, actually). I'm thinking that with a few good starts I could make a nice profit on it come baseball season.

Is that Oswalt? I think it went so low because it's a really crappy patch. $12 is probably where it should be unless you can get some player or set collectors bidding it up.

I agree that it's a lousy patch. The fact that it's such a low-numbered card and from a more mainstream set led me to believe that it'd at least go for a bit more than it did, though. Not a fortune, mind you, but at least closer to my max bid than the $12 it ended at. Oh well, I'm happy with it nonetheless. :)
