Kind of an odd experience but hey...it was an experience.
Not sure how many of you guys go to things like this but they had their annual fan appreciation day and they allow you to get autographs of the football players.Granted it was not all of them but Colt McCoy and Jordan Shipley were there.
In any case we got there 12 hours early(pulled an all nighter) and were about 50-60 people back.We had fun talking to other people there and it was all gravy until they started handing out wristbands prior to the event. That is when they dropped the ball. The wristbands were handed out out of order. We didn't know that of course but they were. And then they told everyone they could go put their chairs up and relax for 30 minutes without having to stand in line.So we do just that and come back and they had already started letting people in.They said not to worry because they would line us up correctly inside. The never did.It got pretty bad but I just don't feel like rehashing it.In any case all I can say is they need to regulate it way better.
But the players were nice as can be and were very conscious about what they were doing. You'd think they were pros already. They even sat there and blew on the auto to make sure it dried before handing the ball to the next guy.I was able to get Colt McCoy on a mini and my football and I got everyone else on the football as well.
All in all it was a pretty cool experience and if the line situation can be sorted out better in the future I wouldn't mind doing it some more.Anybody else go to these things?
