Not trying to be the only one to answer your threads  but there's not a ton of people on the b-ball boards, so figure i'll try to help out again....and maybe someone else can too

I think most people generally disliked Echelon...the main reason being, because it was billed as a high-end Topps product and their version of an "Exquisite" type product. I think the initial MSRP was around $300, so at that price it was rough, espesially since Durant and a few other key rookies were UD exclusives.
That being said, like the Topps signature i mentioned in the other thread, the price has come down to the point that it may be worth it. My suggestion (and with any of the older boxes) is to try a search on youtube. There are a ton of breaks up, so that should give you an idea of a typical break and should help you most when debating if you like the look of the cards and if it's worth your money.

I'll try to respond in the other thread to those questions you asked when i have a chance :D

It's very hit and miss. If you are in in for collecting purposes, it's a fun product to open. If you are in it to make money, then I would steer clear. It's going to take one of the "hits" to get your money back. Hope this helps some.
