there are a few cards i have that have no value at all. (i bought for maybe a dollar a piece or got from the player themselves)
1 is a baseball player that lived next to me
3 are another player
2 are a basketball player my family is friends with
then two white sox player autos from the same set as my friend
and 4 of these, 1 for each game of the world series

using the 45 day service, with shipping and the discount, i'm looking at about $105. i am not grading to increase value, but rather because it would keep the cards in the same condition and would look cool to have these guys i know in BGS cases. it's either $20 for one-touch cases or $100 for BGS. advice?

I wouldn't send those, because the price to get them graded would be more than the value of the cards.

I would probably put them in penny sleeves and toploaders.

Spend the $100 on some kind of display that can show them off. At least if you do that you can switch out the cards if you get tired of looking at those. If you spend it on grading there is no going back.
