Which Cases to Buy?

So I'm still debating picking up a couple cases of something (assuming the wife lets me). This will be primarily for resale...so for those who've been busting them and watching the breaks, which should I get??

So does the Draft auto list and poor base checklist outweight a lesser auto list and better base list? Or is Elite's even that bad for the regular?

Well, in a perfect world, the auto list would be good and the base set would also have some big names. Usually, in a case break alot of the main sales come from 20ct chrome lots (especially if you break multiples).

In the past, there should be 10+ names that bring anywhere from $50-100+ for base chrome lots. This year, their isn't a single one that should command that. The auto set is solid, but still not enough to make a big profit.

Elite has a ton of future potential, but nothing to even come close to profits right now.

That was exactly my thought, I want something that's got more of a solid base set since that's helpful for a good chunk of return...and was thinking with all the parallels that Elite offers, it may be better...

Of course the other option is...what are the thoughts on Razor??

Well, Razor is a different beast. In a single case of Razor you get 100 autos, and they are all on-card, plus no redemptions. If you hit the right autos, I don't see how you can lose too much money, if any at all.

If you want to buy cases for both breaking and putting away, then maybe do 2-3 BCDP and 1-2 razor. The BCDP would be for holding, while the Razor would be for breaking.

just a thought, but maybe some '08 bowman chrome...

If live can ever get up to the 25% range a case can be had for $300, it seems like you could make some money there... (assuming you hit the right autos)
