An auto superfractor of minor league legend Jasson Dominguez or half of the legendary Honus Wagner card? Choices, choices...

Jeezes......tough choices. :giggle: A shiny new card of a player. Or half a Wagner card ? Would I actually get the half a card ? Or would I just own half a card and share it with someone and never get to hold it ? I'd pick the Wagner card if I got to actually have the card in my collection.

Hmm. A prospect who wouldn't command such a high price if he wasn't a Yankee, or half of a card over a century old that will no doubt increase in value in the future?

Wait. Someone said donkeys? Give me all the a$s you can give me, Alex!

I would begrudgingly take the Wagner (only because I was presumably forced to pick one or the other - so many other better buys for the same $), simply because I would turn around and sell it and expect the new card would drop in value quickly and severely.

That Wagner is a joke to me. The fact that someone with WAY TOO MUCH MONEY coughed up a half million for a piece of a card, no matter how iconic, is just plain stupid to me. The hobby aspect is being obscured.

Here's your Wagner.

It sold for $475,000 in a recent Robert Edward auction.
