IMO Iglesias doesn't hold a candle to Flores or Green, but hey, thats my opinion. Names added.

Iglesias will never have an impact bat (like that of Flores), although his glove work is second to none. If he brought well above average speed to the table, I can see him challenging for the top spot, but that isn't the case (I have heard average at best). Of course, he is just 20 years old and in AA (which is very exciting), but as I said, the lack of offensive development at this point is concerning. I think I would rather have Danny Espinosa, who should hit for power/steal bases the bigs while showcasing a gold glove caliber glove of his own.

Flores, Green and Beckham won't stay at SS so that knocks them out. Iglesias is my vote with Gordon as a distant runner up. Two guys to keep an eye on that aren't in the poll are Adeinis Hechavarria and Jurickson Profar.

Jurickson Profar would probably get my vote. Kind of a reach, but nobody else jumps out for me.

Especially for a player to stay at short and hit.

What makes you say that about Green and Beckham? Green is a good defensive shortstop that will stay there as long as he continues to produce. As for Beckham, I have never heard anything about him moving; If anything, most of his value now is connected to his athleticism at a premium position. His bat doesn't seem to be progressing.

As for Iglesias being the best of the rest, I would still have Danny Espinosa or Nick Franklin on par if not a little better.

i agree on Green, Jemile Weeks will be the 2nd baseman of the future, and Green at SS
