Does this strike anyone else as pathetic?

Was just thinking about guys like Bret and Warrior who basically lived their gimmicks.

Bret particularly has always struck me as sad. He was my favorite back in the day. But since Montreal he has been a sad shell of a human being. He takes himself far too serious and lives his gimmick every second of every day.


And we all know how Warrior was. If there was one dude who lived his gimmick 100% of the time it was Warrior.


I have a few other examples, but I won't throw them out yet, just in case other people think of them.
