Hello gentlemen (and ladies), I hope that all of you who attended the National had a good time in Chicago. I'm off my hiatus during which I did some vacationing, sold off cards to prepare for marriage (still doing it), and got some relaxation in. Good to see some new members here.

Alex, what test did you take?

It was a class and test to get an ITIL Certification. Part of my current role is an incident specialist where I confirm high priorities, escalate them to support teams, and manage the urgency and response for those teams/managers to take and resolve in a timely fashion. ITIL stands for Information Technology Infrastructure Library. It is aimed at how to use the library documentation on how to appropriately plan/do/create/act on an incident level. The certification is a good thing to have in the direction I am hoping to take my career and there are a ton of local followup meetings around best practices and such that I am excited to get into.
