Hey guys,
What's the deal with the new USA autos in Bowman Chrome? After cracking six boxes and checking eBay, it looks like the only autographs are the parallel versions. Do base autos exist?
Same deal for base USA cards: there are redemption cards out there for the whole USA set in the...
I have an untrimmed one. I'm a Bowman Chrome setbuilder. I bought the redemption card on eBay in 2001 for about $250 and hated myself for paying that much. Redeemed it myself, put it in the set with the other 19 autos, watched the card reach $3K, and sent it to BGS. It's a 9 and one half-grade...
There are some interesting players in the prospect set. One correction: Johermyn Chavez is a Mariner, not Blue Jay. He's one of several good first-year cards.
Just to show you what a bad break looks like... Six boxes of hobby, bought from a long-time board wax dealer.

I agree that DeSa is the toughest. He died within a year from the set's release. I bought mine at a show the following year for $20 and I have no idea if its real or not.
Show was an eager signer and his cards are plentiful. Scurrys are around, too. Howser is tough but not as hard as his 1987...
If anyone else is collecting this set I need the following:
Onix Concepcion, Luis Sanchez, Darryl Sconiers, Doug Flynn, Ramon Romero, Cesar Cedeno, Bobby Brown, Scot Thompson, Brent Gaff, Rusty Staub, and Gary Woods.
I was very surprised to see several of these in the 95% set that just sold...
Maybe I'm just old-school, but I don't view many of the cards in the set as rookies. Most of the key guys have 2007 and 2008 cards in non-Bowman products. And again, I'm old-school, so I think that Elite counts as true RCs.
As for lack of sales interest, I believe that the totally pathetic...
My favorite eBay seller. With every order he includes his business card so if there is ever a problem you can just call him.
I have had an order of 30-40 different items and one card was missing. One email solved the problem and the card arrived in a few days.
I'm working on the blue refractors and these two players always sell for way more than everyone else, except Porcello. Why? They're freakin' pitchers, and not that highly regarded. Anyone know the scoop?
Thanks for the confirmation, Plasticman. As an aside, its amazing that in 01 Donruss released redemption cards for non-autographed, non-GU cards. What the hell were they doing?
I need help from the Will Clark collectors.
I am trying to complete my 2001 Donruss set with inserts.
There is a 2001 Donruss Diamond King 1988 reprint (non-auto version) that was supposed to be serial numbered /1988. However, I have only seen this card online one time, and it sold for over...
