The issue at hand is that players give up their rights to their names and likeness when they agree to accept the scholarships and/or play for the team(s). I got the sarcasm, I just wanted to play devil's advocate with sarcasm :) We only hear about the "idiots" because that's good headline stuff. Most of the student athletes I've known were extremely smart and did very well in their classes. In fact, most (that I knew) were science and engineering...- Labratt21

Fair enough. The same could be said of student athletes - they're mostly idiots who couldn't have received admission to that school anyway (except maybe Arizona St.) and easily replaceable. Who cares if they're not paid?- Labratt21

Question - if athletes were to be paid because they perform a service for the university and their services bring in revenue, what about paying student researchers? These students get on patents and publications that increases funding to those particular departments/university, but they do not...- Labratt21

eBay Etiquette on shipping???
I typically wait at least 2 weeks from the next mailing/business date after the auction ended to contact a seller about when they've sent an item. After that I'll send a polite email asking when the item might be sent. And I've only had to do this once. -
