I don't know if your gonna get much of a bump by grading it, but as you stated, it does help protect them.
I think there are so many plates being produced that the value really has not shot up like a 1/1 should. As far as the grades go, I've only had one graded and I was quite happy when I got...
Nice to see this thread still going strong! I haven't been in here in a while.
TBTwins, nice pick ups on the books! Any signed book is a good book. Sounds like you've picked up some nice stuff at VERY good prices. Good stuff! Have you sent off to Grisham yet?
I've only added one book lately...
I don't think the Giants win was THAT impressive....have you seen the Pats D this year?
And yes, I'm a Pats fan.
I told my wife before the season started to watch out for the Packers, they could be the team to beat again. She loved hearing me say that, she's a HUGE Packers fan.
That was freaking amazing! Just ONE of those pieces he talked about would be the centerpiece of anyone's collection. He had ROOMS full of them!
Post thanked for posting this video, I really enjoyed it.
If your doing IP auto's, ALWAYS carry extra pens/sharpies. You may or may not get yours back.

HOLY CRAP!! :o
How much in Ebay Bucks did you have?? I would LOVE to see scans once they all arrive. That's some major star power you got going there.
I picked up these for my Carl Willey collection. All are final negatives used in making the card from that year.

Wow, nice mail day!! That 58 set is a nice clean set with lots of color. Awesome pick up!
How much did you pay for the lot if you don't mind me asking?
Just my 2 cents here....
But if your going to list them all at one time, I would list each of them BIN/BO. But if you are going to slowly sell them, which may get you more in the long run as you don't want to be competing against yourself, I would list each as an auction, and spread them out...
Just a FYI.....
If you do use Priority or Express envelopes to fatten up your package and they find out (package gets torn or whatever may happen) the WILL charge the person picking up the package for that class of mail.
A few months ago I was at the PO looking for smaller (8x8) Priority Mail...
