My COMC order arrived today. Mostly FB, but a few others. I loved those Skybox Favre MVP cards when they were new. They are dirt cheap now though, even the redemption lenticular card can be found for $2 or less sometimes. Acetate card (only one I didn't buy) remains the most expensive besides the B side redemption card needed to exchange for the lenticular. Sky Mint and Sky Motion cards too. The 90s had some special inserts and not all of them will cost you a fortune either.

Added another more scarce "button hole" jersey relic. Yankees this time. Need Sox and Jays now (very little chance of Jays except recent Jersey Fusion stuff maybe). Kinda beat up, but theres only 6 or 7 on a jersey when they cut it up so, the /150 status is a little misleading. Trying to focus on stuff like this to differentiate the collection as I get further down the road.....

Correa /50. I wanted this when the issue was new, but it was always too expensive. It's come down quite a lot since then. Another example or patience almost always pays off.

2012 Topps Five Star #5 Ichiro #/80 -- Ichiro has just a few base cards as a Yankee as he was an exclusive to Panini in 2013-2014. This is one of the few sets outside his Topps Flagship and Heritage sets. The MSRP was $500 per pack, with only one base card per pack, happy to find this for $13 shipped.

2023 Absolute Trent Dilfer/Terrell Suggs dual auto Gold 01/10. There are multiple versions serial numbered higher than /10 listed on some checklists but I haven't seen any of those, just /10, /5 (missed out on one), and /1 (went for more than I wanted to pay).

2001 Topps Golden Anniversary Auto Michael Wenner completes the 6-card team set. This one was very tough to track down and I ended up paying $40 for it because I love the set and wanted to be done with it. Wenner had 126 steals in 3 minor league seasons but never made it past High A. 2004 Reflections Red/50 Mark Mulder gets my team set needs down to 3.

There seem to be a number of those Golden Anniversary cards that are tough. Each time a John Lackey comes up, it sells for stupid money ($200+) and I'd consider him a minor star. I guess wait long enough and find the right people and they will buy just about any tough common! Exactly why I am not a set builder or completist, generally speaking.
