It's been since about June since I posted over here but I have some time now as well as a few new pick-ups. I'll start with 1919 Cincinnati Reds postcards. OK, it appears things have changed a bit, I'll have to review the posting of images to get this right! Be patient with me! Got It!! RC

Great pickups everyone, seems like it's been forever since I've visited or posted here. I have some that I have finally gotten scanned to show. With the Crowder, I'm up to 215/240 on the '33 Goudeys, unfortunately there are a few that I don't expect to acquire. 1933 Goudey 1935 Goudey 4 in 1...

Thanks guys, I just pick them up when I see them at a decent/affordable price (for me)...Unfortunately, some of those I still need are most likely out of my price range. But I have been very lucky and I do have some of the more desirable cards, including one of the Ruth's and a Gehrig amongst...

I really love to see the T-202's, thanks for sharing. They seem to be underappreciated in my opinion. RC

1975 Cincinatti Reds Auto Ball Value?

At a quick glance, that looks like Art Shamsky above the Perez signature and Tommy Helms in the 2nd image which places the ball in the '67-'68 range. RC

What is the 1952 Topps Mickey Mantle really worth?

Some of Mantle's late night carousing has been well documented, coming to games without having been to bed and with a hangover you would think hurt his performance! Gray - I've been a little slow in card collecting of late but picked up a few '40 Reds Play Ball cards yesterday that I will...

What is the 1952 Topps Mickey Mantle really worth?

I was just mainly replying to Gray's comment (Hi Gray!) that if Mantle hadn't played for the Yankees he would have a hard time getting into the HOF. I would agree that Mantle's cards are overpriced and that corresponds to his overall popularity as a player, which I'm sure was magnified by his...
