Apparently there were no Braves players who finished the season with a 5+ WAR & only two players with a 3+ WAR...you can probably guess who they are. Freddie Freeman finished with a 4.5 WAR & Inciarte with a 3.0 WAR.
Surprisingly enough, despite finishing with career highs in just about every offensive category and 200+ hits, this was a career worst season for Inciarte according to WAR. He finished with a career best oWAR (offensive WAR) but his dWAR (defensive WAR) was far lower than it has ever been in the past. I'm really curious why this is because he still finished among the top (or at the top) of many other defensive categories like defensive runs saved & such. He must have made some bad plays when I wasn't watching because he always looked very good in the games I saw this year.
