I always love to see new cards added to this thread and am continually impressed at the rare cards y'all find! This isn't new for most of you, but I was excited to add it my collection.

I used most of my COMC credit to pick this up. I was a little concerned about authenticity given the "pre-production" status of the card and chose to have COMC submit it for grading. It'll match my BGS 9 1991 Score Sample nicely :D

Pleased to pick up Puckett cards 1,999, 2,000, and 2,001 for my collection.

1,999 - 1996 Studio Silver Press Proof - This card really doesn't excite me, except that I hesitated for 30 seconds about a year ago when I had the opportunity to buy one on COMC, and it sold in that short time frame, so for the last year it'd been driving me nuts not to have one. Glad to cross it off. Still can't figure out why Donruss decided to make the silver proof the rare one for that set, and not the gold, one of the world's great mysteries.

2,000 - 1989 Topps Heads Up! Test Issue - Used Friday's 20% off on eBay to knock this down even further to a price I was reasonably happy with, figured #2K had better be a good one.

2,001 - 2015 Panini Cooperstown Golf Classic - Well, it took me 2,001 cards to end up with one with a photo of Puck golfing, but I do like the unique nature of it and his smile this photo. I'd always liked this card but just never picked one of these up. Randomly found it for a few bucks on Beckett Marketplace.

Funny thing about the golf card is that he hated golf. Pretty sure he wrote in is book or something that he hated the game and refused to play. Thats why he started the billiards charity events rather than golf. That particular card always makes me smile.

Very nice pickups, btw. I think I was the benefactor of your hesitation on the Leaf Silver. Grabbed it on COMC about a year ago. Happy to see you were able to get another one!

Any of you other Puckett collectors looking for a 1991 O-pee-chee blank back?

I picked up one recently, but found that I already had one I didn't mark off my list apparently.

I'd forgotten that about Puck and his dislike of golf. I'm going to have to go find that in his book. I'm probably due to re-read that. Yeah, I think it was February 2017 when DallasCardboys listed a '96 Studio Silver on COMC. I'd already spent a ton of money, hesitated, it was gone. Glad it went to someone here, though I still agonized about it for a year;)

I'd always assumed that a 1995 Score Gold Rush Redeemed existed for Puck, but I don't think I'd seen one before. Anyone have one already? It'll be interesting to see what it sells for. Different guys, but Ripken, Gwynn, Bonds have all sold for less than $50 in eBay sold listings, while a Thomas went for $380 in recent months.

I always wondered about that card too. I would be hesitant to buy simply because someone unscrupulous with a custom hole-punch could...ugh.

I have one. Picked it up a number of years ago when NWsportscards did their big collection sale. If I remember right I paid $60 or $75 for it. At that point I had never seen the card so I hit the BIN immediately.

The rub is that no one knows how many are out there other than the number is extremely low. If there are more than 2,000 of each punched team set (with many teams much lower) I'd be surprised.

I paid $7 (iirc) for my Jeff Frye and recently bought a Jim Edmonds for less than $20. We all know how we are as player collectors and that Thomas is evidence of it. From a rational standpoint though if i collected Puckett I wouldn't blink at a $50-75 price tag on it at this point. There may be 1,500 copies of it out there and there may be 15. I don't have an Edmonds collection but I bought the one I have just because I've had a thought a time or two about starting one and the Redeemed cards just don't come up that often.

I have a 1995 Score Gold Rush Redeemed in my collection as well. I picked it up many many years ago from a father/son Puckett collector as they were parting ways with their collection. I think those cards are pretty cool and I haven’t personally seen many of them over the years.

Awesome pickups were pictured in here recently, great job guys! Please keep sharing them!

I’m still looking for 12 - 2004 Leaf Exhibits to finish the Puckett run (4 series 1 & 8 series 2). Please let me know if anyone has some available for sale or trade. I have some doubles that I can trade with. We can get creative, perhaps 2 or 3 you may need for 1 that I need?

Here’s the ones I’m searching for:

Series 1 - (4 needed)
1926 Unblocked Legend (1926U)
1927 (1927)
1939-46 Best Wishes Right (1939-46BWR)
1939-46 Very Truly Yours Left (1939-46VTYL)

Series 2 - (8 needed) (12 total)
1921 American League (1921AML)
1939-46 Truly Yours Left (1939-46TYL)
1939-46 Very Truly Yours Right (1939-46VTYR)
1947-66 Made In USA Sig (1947-66MSIG)
1947-66 Printed By Donruss Playoff Print (1947-66PDPSCR)
1947-66 Printed In USA Sig (1947-66PDPSIG)
1962-63 No Stat Name Left (1962-63NSNL)
1962-63 No Stat Name Right (1962-63NSNR)

Thanks,
Jeremy

That's a tough Puckett to land though, I think I paid around $75 for mine back in the day.

Here's a new material variation trio that I rounded up...

Puckett Bat:
17.109a.jpg

Puckett White Jersey:
17.148a.jpg

Puckett Grey Jersey:
17.162a.jpg

There's way too many variations to track down of the rest of the 16 players included on this card, so I'll just stick to the three different Puckett pieces.

Nice stuff Jeremy. I hadn't seen the grey material one before.

I have a lot of stuff I haven't posted yet but I'll start with this. I had this card on my watch list for a very long time and finally grabbed it with one of those sweet ebay offers that have been popping up.

2016 Pantheon Honored and Privileged Tag 1/1
2016 Pantheon Honored and Privileged Halo Silver Tag - 1.jpg

Goes well with the other 3 card from that series. /99, /25, and /10
2016 Pantheon Honored and Privileged Jersey - 99.jpg
2016 Pantheon Honored and Privileged Bat Gold - 25.jpg
2016 Pantheon Honor and Privilaged Prime Bronze - 10.jpg

I swear these buybacks get me every time. Oh well at least this one is numbered unlike the Topps ones.
