It has been a little over a month now since seriously starting my TTM requests. In that time, I have sent almost 120 requests.
- most were cards, but I did send some photos my wife took at spring training to be signed as well.
- my focus is definitely on active players, but I have sent to some coaches and retired players (former Brewers).
- my main team collection is the Brewers, but I have sent out almost 2/3 of my major league requests to other teams.
- I don't have a single set focus like A&G or Heritage (though I do think signed 09 SP Authentic cards look nice personally), but generally prefer action shots.
- I use Staedtler erasers to prep most of my cards as I've found that even the base Topps are sometimes too glossy.
- most of them have been scanned into picasa (link in my sig) if you want to see them.
Anyway, I just wanted to share my successes as a resource for others who were wondering about the signing habits of current players.

Curtis Granderson - 0/2 (sent signed photo instead) - 25 days
Chris Perez - 3/4 - 15 days
Tim Dillard - 3/3 (photos) - 27 days
Russell Branyan - 1/1 - 27 days
Joe Nathan - 1/2 - 28 days
minor leagues - 9/26 (35%)
Cody Scarpetta - 2/2 (photos) - 14 days
