We were basically on the same page with the exception of the Ruth barrel. My thing is that individual players cards tend to go for more money than quads sometimes unless it's a really quality made quad item. If you paid about $12K I think you got a GREAT deal, but I agree with you that this Ruth barrel is easily his worst I've ever seen. You may be right, it may not bring more than 7-8K. It's also #/3, not that that hurts the value a ton on a high end piece like that but something else to keep in mind. If it was mine, I'd hold out for 10-11K because it's a Ruth barrel even though it's poorly made

I paid 12k and got ruth, foxx, ott, mathews. I wouldn't touch this one for 10k and I wouldn't touch the bettet one for 10k. I would only go 5500-6000 on this ruth.

But like you said single player cards to set collectors can drive price but it shouldn't come near 12k.

Or maybe I just got a insane goI'd deal on my ruth quad

Cards that are that unique are extremely tough to gage, I still think you got an awesome deal though. I totally understand why you'd pay that, it's easily the worst Ruth barrel I've seen.

It's the same w the Jackie . It says Jackie Robinson Style . A lil weird. I don't think he meant the card is fake , but the bat used may need some research..??
